It reminds me of old point-and-click adventure games, in the best kind of way. It almost feels like I could click on the poster and have the bear walk over and say something about it.

Sure! Games like Simon the Sorcerer, Discworld, Day of the Tentacle, Monkey Island, or one like Deponia for a more modern example.
