"Red Eyes", Kishu Ken
nobody's allowed to whine about burning up in the sun when albinos exist
Akame is... weird. I get that he's one of Gin's closest friends of like 10+ years (yeah, Ginga be like that), but he's. Kinda an asshole? I assumed this was because he had to be given his position. He's the one in charge of a small, dying ninja clan, he's gotta be blunt and make the tough decisions. But as more and more time goes by, even though he's forsaken his stupid mission for a long time, he still acts like the worst thing someone can do is not tough shit out. He has a very poor understanding of empathy and that's a turn off. Plus he just gets kinda lowkey grody with age. Don't come for me, Akame stans.
It's a SUPER obvious choice to make Akame albino, and I'm 99.9% certain I'm not the first person to redesign him like this in recent years. I get that Kishus are already super white and all, but I figured that it'd be more fun and more interesting to make Akame stand out from the crowd of other white dogs with pink noses. Plus, c'mon, his name is Red Eyes. I get that it's a name that's been passed down for generations blah blah blah NO ONE CARES, GIVE HIM ALBINISM OR GIVE HIM DEMON EYES
