A Matric ton of movie lines have just come flooding back into my head.

The power window motors on those things loved to burn out. Also the brakes. I had a friend who was a mechanic and used to work on them. Their shop often had 2 or 3 at the same time. He told me once that they picked the number "88.8" for the movie because there was no way a real DeLorean would make it to that speed, though I find that to be a little hard to believe (Stock it was a rear mounted 6 banger that shouldn't have any problem doing 100+)
