I used to buy the cookies all the time... but the darn prices go up and more internal packaging keeps leaving less room for cookies... I do break down... but really only buy one box. I remember thin mints having more than two sealed packs in them, now there is generally less than a pack an a half in those plastic sleeves.
This is an adorable pic.

lol.... I see a lot of thin mints comments. I think it's how hard it is to find them that makes them super popular. Its nearly impossible to get grasshoppers where I live (same thing as thin mints, really) so most of us crave that particular taste because of it's rarity. and thin mints only come out once a year. SOMETIMES twice.
I'll be honest, I always wind up getting ten boxes or so. Then i hoard them, try to stretch them out. They might last six months. Thin mints go great with coffee, a very popular drink here in New Orleans. We get the good shit.

I always used to have to buy Samoas when they had them for sale, for a long time that was the only place you could get them. Then I guess the patent expired and Keebler and other companies started making them (now called Caramel Delights), and I was finally free from their choke hold on my money... :)
