There was a problem with one of the Dark industries experiments, it was in a conjoined one, but when the test subjects were disbanded, Catccoon had problems in his body, causing his DNA to return to its wild primal state, escaping from Dark's facilities industries and causing it to scour nearby cities and towns to search for prey.
