Sunbathin' Spike is a shell-bearing Japanese monster known as a Sazaeoni. He's extremely lazy, and basically wants to do nothing other than lay on the beach, eat a snack, and look at girls wearing skimpy bikinis.
This was drawn for a contest held by Scythemantis. It looks a hell of a lot better irl, but that can't be helped. :(
Also, I'd like to add that most Sazaeoni are actually female, which means that Spike here is a bit of an anomaly. And I can't draw sexy female monsters. Yet.
