Mother: Philei Mizutama, who was separated from him at birth after the trainer deemed him unworthy due to having 0 IVs.

History: A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY- Okay, not -that- long ago, but like, 13 years ago, there was a young girl named Philei who was sold off to a trainer for breeding competitive Pokémon. The first, and only child she had under his watch was none other than Picaro, a Popplio who seemed to have been so negatively affected by Philei's toxic body that his trainer used it as an excuse to throw him in the garbage. The trainer did not survive this incident, and Philei spent the next 12 years searching for him. For the first seven years of his life, Picaro doesn't know who, or what took care of him, until he happened to meet Joseph, who he seemed to not only recognize, but instantly felt comfortable trusting his care to. He didn't know his real name at the time, so Joseph decided to call him Josh for the time being. The two have been friends and partners ever since, through Joseph's time in Team Skull to the present day.
Perhaps due to his lineage of an Ultra Beast charged mother and a literal god as a father, Picaro has a repertoire of powers at his disposal! Well, mostly, as he can't control the vast majority of them. Train as he might, he just can't quite grasp how to use his powers outside of fits of extreme emotion. It's his biggest weakness, feeling useless among his friends who all understand their own power and how to fight, and what drives him to do better each and every day. Perhaps as a result of these powers being given to him, Ultra Beasts frequently appear to attack him, presumably with the aim of taking him to who knows where... Luckily, he has a group of powerful friends in Joseph's team to protect him, much to his dismay in wanting to protect himself. These powers include similar powers to his mother like absurd feats of strength with poor endurance, accelerated healing, and his body being made of an extremely potent toxin that harms most things in gruesome ways, still being studied by scientists.
After severely injuring one of Joseph's rivals' Pokémon, he vowed not to fight another Pokémon until he had better control of his power, which has only messed him up even more, leading to more outbursts. He -is- a teenager after all. All he wants out of life is to make Joseph and his mother proud, and for all his friends to get their happily ever afters. Will he be able to make everyone's dreams come true?
Or are they all already living their worst nightmare?
