Sorry about that. Just getting enthusiastic with such descriptions always. <X3
Anyways, it has been a lot of fun to record and put together the images seen in the collage here. "Animal Crossing" gives you a bunch of fun tools that you can use on the side to just play on your own or share yourself with other people. When the game released around 2013, Nintendo still had a free Online service and I used that quite some to meet up with friends as well as various foreign players around the globe.
The multiplayer here unlike a lot of other games wasn't much about competitions but mostly around trading and leisurely enjoying each other's company. Got a lot of my stuff from people in the US and it has been always a nice experience for me.
People introduced me also to a bunch of cool tools. Like an image converter with that you could turn any photo into an image fit to be redrawn as a pattern/design in the game. People made also lists and gave tips and tricks to each other, which always made the experience rather convenient.
Regarding my house in "New Leaf" (seen in the video above), my major goal was it to create a homy environment. A place that I'd most likely also enjoy living at. I gave everything with the furniture in the catalogue the best possible charm, I think.
End results: A big kitchen to have all the useful household gadgets in, an adventurous and cool entry hall, a living room that feels warm and cozy, a party room in the basement, a spa of a bathroom as well as a stylish and luxurious bedroom to lounge at. Quite dreamy (and there is again Totodile stuff, hehe). (~.=.o) ♪
One can see that I put quite some time into everything. My 3DS claims that I've spent over a thousand hours in "Animal Crossing: New Leaf". No sure if that's correct because it had happened to me that I just had the game open next to me while writing something down, etc.. It's definitely cool for both shorter and longer sessions.
Anyways, what I can reccommend to people who play "Animal Crossing" games, is that they start playing with some personal goals and with more unlocked things try out more and more things in their own pace. The game for me felt always rewarding and relaxing both, and admittedly, I played "New Leaf" far more than "Wild World" perhaps because I got hooked at the thought of being able to impact my surroundings in the game more than ever before.
Before I come to a close here, I'll go again over all the images in this collage. =3
-The upper left pic shows some of the area close to the train station. You can see here some of the really lovely designs that other people in the community came up with for natural pathways. The trick here for me was to make up extra player characters who could all save their own stacks of different patterns and through that, I could basically draw in all the cool walkways throughout Furville.
Also some more lovely flowers, Public Works Projects and bubbles. 🔵🔵🔵
-The center image shows two more awesome things that I added to make Furville to something special. The one thing is on the train plaza, namely a giant Totodude mosaic. ( see the artwork of Shiny by Veemonsito here and here ) Basically reduced the size and number of colors on that one, split it up into twelve tiles and then let a creation tool read out the color palettes from "New Leaf". Afterwards just had to re-pixel it and voilà! Shiny in the game! ❤️️
And as seen so nice and golden also, my collection of badges (basically the achievements in "New Leaf"). Got them all which is cool! X3 🏅
-Last in the top row, we got an image of my player character sitting under the town's mighty tree. It basically symbolizes the days and months of progress that one makes, as you start out with a young tree that you plant and alongside all the changes in your town it becomes that beautiful and serene testimonial of your playtime. I find it quite lovely. 🌳
-On the left, you see another earlier screenshot. There myself gets to help out at the café, currently brewing some coddee for a customer (who is none other as my other favorite AC neighbour character: Chief - He's a cool dude!).
-And on the right, there are the festivities that you get whenever a Public Works Project got finished. My character as the town's mayor of course being there for accomodate Furville's new addition. Isabelle the Shi Tsu secretary is a great help throughout the game and should at least be yet known by "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" players. =3
-Last row in my collection! First in the lower left corner, you get to see a neat view on my house from the outside. I liked the Eastern exterior because it had a dreamy flair to me. You cannot miss my house also because of the nice front yard with a big rock and (of course) a Totodile sign that I pixeled myself. U NO I TOTODILY LUV TOTODILEZ! (~^.=.^~)💙
-Next to that one, you can see another room of my museum. I always found Dinosaurs cool and the big bones of them just are way impressive. I liked them enough to collect each of the fossil parts on the double and put all of the smaller sized models into my entry hall. Watch the video to see that. ;3
-The final screenshot shows the area close to the ocean. I found it fitting to have a spot where people can stay safe from sudden rainy weather, and also having a light house seems like a good choice for that spot.
In general, putting down all such landmarks was decided partly through design and partly through where they could hinder new neighbours from setting down their house in an odd spot. That's one of the few downsides that "New Leaf" had but that luckily gets fixed with the sequel "New Horizons".
Phew! Whenever I submit something, my editing and making sure to count down all my thoughts for the ones also engaged in the subject's matter can take up quite some hours. Always so slow. Typical me. <X3
Hope though that some of you will enjoy it. I sure did and will happily listen to your thoughts regarding the "Animal Crossing" franchise. Definitely won't be the last time people will see something connected to it here. I like the franchise really much.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun with things on the side plus doing casual things as like fishing and Bugcatching are silly and amusing activities for when you got some minutes to play, on a bus ride for example or during an episode of a show that you haven't watched for a while. ^_^
