Abilities: Adept in martial artist and self-defense, trained with various firearms and weaponry, and wearing a specialized suit that provides shock/impact absorption to deal with most attacks. He also has received more advanced training from a certain orange Kitsune.
Weaknesses: The suit is completely tech based, so it is possible to be hacked, or it can be simply removed from his body under the right circumstances, leaving him exposed.
Personality: Rough around the edges but with a heart of gold, Hayate is a diamond in the rough, and is very dedicated to doing the best he can in his job.
Background: Hayate Mizutani is a rugged but fairly kind cop from a pretty rough background. Orphaned via his parents being killed from being caught in the crossfire of Yakuza conflict involving some rogue members, and he himself would have died in it as well if it wasn't for his anger pushing him to the fight option. And that's just what he did, in a rush of adrenaline and what most would consider an insane action, he took down a few members of those rogue Yakuza present on his own before the police arrived on the scene. After everything was dealt with, the Commissioner took in Hayate since he didn't have any remaining family that could take care of him as he was still under the age to be living on his own and didn't have a job yet. As such, he spent his time living with the Commissioner from there, though he would be in a state of grievance for a while, he would grow interested in joining the police force as well for the main reason of wanting to prevent such tragedies from happening to anyone else. With the Commissioner's blessings and permission, he was set to try out. Despite his rugged lifestyle and choices, he passed the tests and training with flying colors due to his hard work and dedication to his desire.
His ability to talk to people and empathize with them really shone as he started his work, becoming a valuable member of the P.D., this coupled with his pretty spot-on record served him through two promotions by the Superintendent after his first and second year respectively, landing him as Sergeant in time. His team, or Box, consists of the entire team in their station's assigned district of the city, though they all are able to work around the entire place.
