Being eaten by Montague isn't something that you can do much about. If he's approaching you, he's already decided that you're food. No amount of reasoning with him is going to change his mind. He's already guzzled down hundreds of creatures just like who you've made the same arguements about not being food. His stomach proved otherwise every single time. He's aware you'd likely prefer to be yourself instead of owl fat. It's just that when you're owl fat, you won't have that opinion anymore. Or many opinions at all.
Now it doesn't have to be awful. To Montague, it's certainly not a bad thing. He's having a nice snack and has no teeth to even hurt you. If you accept your role in life, he'll make the journey quite pleasant. Fond words, a few tender rubs and some licks to just the right places. But if you make a fuss about it, he'll just play along. He'll grab you, tease you and let you know exactly what's going to happen. After all, what are you going to do about it? Overpower a massive, magical owl? No, if you're pressed against his stomach, it's already too late.
