I wonder what most of those machines do. The orange mechs I'm guessing are some sort of security drones. But the other machines just have me baffled.

i like to imagine the top left one is an "Electron Weaver" basically converting massive ammounts of energy into matter, fabricating anything the machine empire needs material wise so long it has enough energy to do the process.
