Keepsies is a sentient feral raccoon with a pear shaped body and a charming smile. He's something of a myth in the local towns, but quite a few are certain he exists. Keepsies is wild, he lives out in the woods as far as anyone can tell. But he doesn't act wild. The large, plump raccoon will often gleefully bound up to people, acting like an excited housecat who wants to play. He's also been known to slip into houses and snuggle up to people in their beds.
That's the biggest danger about him. He's so absolutely disarming. The raccoon will roll over for tummy rubs or nuzzle up and blanket people with the warmth of his fur. Anyone's first instinct with such a friendly forest creature is usually to love them right back. And who would pass up the chance to play with such a friendly raccoon?
Then he'll get them alone. If they're in public, he'll usually bound back into the trees and try to get them to follow. No need if he's already in their home. But then it's right back to snuggling and being sweet. And that's when things intensify. He'll sneak in a smooch. A fond lick to the nose. Maybe he'll brush that tail against them in a sensual way. But soon enough, his affection grows romantic.
He's gentle and sweet, but unrelenting. Those paws stroke, that muzzle smooches and his catch is just bathed in his warmth and softness. While plenty who've heard of him insist that they'd never fall for the advances of a wild animal, it seems that plenty do. The raccoon knows just how to use his plump comfort and body language to ease his catches into a blushing relaxation. They're unable to resist.
And then he has them. Maybe they don't notice or maybe they don't realize the danger, but while the victim is pacified by affection, the raccoon goes from kissing to swallowing. A smooch will usually engulf their head and those stroking paws start shoving as well. Rumor has it that no one even resists on the ride in. His talented tongue and inner warmth leave most more than eager.
The name Keepsies was given as a warning to others. If you give into the raccoon, he's not giving you back. While some believe it's just some silly legend, the local park rangers seem absolutely certain it's the truth. They're often warning park goers not to trust the raccoon. And even the most adament skeptics can't deny the strange rumbles that sometimes echo from the depths of the woods. Ones that sound suspiciously like belches.
And of course, the towns do have quite a few missing people and tourists. Last seen in the local park. The rangers insist that they've met the creature and he's not even shy about it. They'll show Keepsies a photo...and if he nods and pats his tummy, they just sigh. No one listens. Or maybe in the heat of the moment, no one cares.
