Olympic athlete Red Chenery, a.k.a. the speedster superhero Race Horse. He's the mentor of my superhero Nunzio "Champion Cheetah" Chazelli, and the grandfather of supervillain Harry Tack (not yet drawn) who also takes up the name Race Horse.
This is Red in his prime, during the 1970s. At the time in my superhero universe, superheroing was illegal, rarer and more underground, before Dobes and Identity brought it more into the public eye.
I picture him having his own 70s theme song, with horns and "wacka" guitars.
He's not to be confused with Power Hoss, my electric-powered Belgian draft horse superhero.
