Craddock as a Pokémon trainer? As a DUO trainer team? Well it happened!
As part of my college's Pokémon club, we run a special event every year where we mimic the most recent game's Pokémon journey, but for members of the club! Each participant travels around campus, facing the 8 gym leaders stationed at various spots and collecting gym badges - or in this case, league cards - from each of the leaders. Once they have all 8 cards, they can challenge the elite 4, and the winners battle each other for the title of champion! Overall a very unique and fun Pokémon experience!
As for
Cugaru and myself, we were duo leaders! And even though I doubt it needs to be stated, we were the dragon type gym! What better duo than dueling dragon rivals? And we truly are rivals, as the back of the card makes clear! (which you can check out HERE!) We even made a short gym challenge where challengers played a short D&D style pokemon encounter, playing as pokemon to defeat a Kyurem boss!
As for the card itself, the artist is Cugaru who did an INCREDIBLE job with the card. I mean, this HAS to be one of his best works. So much detail went into this, and I have to agree it looks absolutely amazing! Since his FA is inactive, I highly recommend checking out his Twitter HERE!
We even each signed the card ourselves! And yes, we did print out the card physically. In fact, we have quite a few extras, so while I don't have nearly as many as my Craddock Blue-Eyes White Dragon cards, both myself and Cúgaru both have some extras that we would love to give out if anyone ever sees us IRL! If you want one, just ask for one! We would be glad to share!
