Now this guy... Was rather unexpected to be honest. This is a character that popped up pretty early on when I got into the game, but I ended up dismissing him then. Well apparently listening to a song that kinda works for his story all day long managed to bring him back and I decided to make him a proper character, although he won't get near as much screen time as the others (especially Ekko and Lyre). Though at least two drawings and a short comic/one page comic should be in store for him eventually, and likely a ref even though I don't plan to use him for much. We'll see.

Also, I am aware he might look a bit like the Traitor's Child, but it's not as bad anymore when you see the full body. Fun fact I believe I knew of the Traitor's Child before I knew the Traitor Lord would be a thing so this guy was kinda meant to be her father? But clearly that ain't the case anymore since she does have a canonical father. They are in no way related now and the only thing that remains from that idea is his status as a traitor to the Pale King. Or as he was more specifically known, The Heretic. As for what his actual name is? I'll tell you when I figure that out.

Now imma share some more info on him because I'm not that strict on keeping secrets about that guy. For one he's a mantisfly, not a mantis, so he is not from their tribe. He used to work in the White Palace as a researcher/advisor in the Vessel project. Shit went down real bad and he got labeled a heretic and traitor, yeeted into the dungeon pretty soon after. He is 112% absolutely heckin dead during the events of the game, though you would be able to visit his grave and meet his ghost. Yes that is Void leaking out of his eyes, no it wasn't like that when he was still alive, mostly.

Fun fact you can tell I'm tired because when I went to export the drawing I realized I hadn't saved a single time in those three hours it took me to draw this as the file was still untitled. Thank fuck Gimp never crashes on me.
