"Aright they're in front of the ship and....you still awake?" A hint of teasing could be heard in Tyrreel's voice. He looked down with a playful smirk watching Katherine nuzzle her head into his lap with her eyes closed.
"Mm-hmmmm..." The vampire bat's voice trailed off softly.She held tightly to his left paw giving it a squeeze pulling it around her body like a blanket to keep warm.
"What did I just say then." The wolf/tiger half breed challenged his wife gently pulling back on his arm trying to free it from her grip. He chuckled softly watching her furrow her brow and screeching softly pulling it back not giving it up with out a fight.
"You asked if I was still awake." Kat spoke up in a half conscious daze.
"And before that?"
"hrm?"
"what did I say before that?" Tyrreel started to pull again.
"Mmmm, something about being some where or something" Kat's voice again trailed off pulling forcefully on his paw pulling it around her and under her shoulder.
"I knew it you were asleep." He chuckled finally letting her win the tug of war for his paw.
"I was not!" The vampire bat nuzzled his leg before rolling slightly to face him with still closed eyes.
"Yes you were your eyes are still closed" His tone had a semi serious tone as he smiled down at Katherine. She may not have been able to see it but she knew he was smile and gave him a snarky smirk in return.
"Hon.... would it really make much of a difference for me if my eyes were open?" She continued to smirk at him as he remained silent. Finally, the wolf/tiger half breed let out a soft sigh pouting.
"Now how do I fight logic like that?" The rhetorical question got a rise out of Katherine as she rolled back over resting her head once more in his lap.
"It's simple.... you can't" She spoke softly as her voice trailed off going back to sleep.
