Axis is good at two things:
First is being an inventor and Electrical engineer that can come up with a bunch of mechanisms that could benefit a company, (Such as his home at Poke-Air a place belonging to
Luna-Kuto ) as well as being an electrical engineer looking at wiring and power that goes on. With his intellect in his fields of electricity and engineering he keeps improving Poke-Air technological wise including repairs upgrades and such.
Second is being a powerful Pokemon that can aid his folks. He's a good teacher and he looks after his kids and Mabel Trinity (His Gardevior wife).
He studies a lot in the work of electricity and gained his expertise in the area just by making electrical engineering his field of study. With that knowledge he even manages to build a lot of inventions including jet packs, an evolution belt, and even two certain weapons that causes anyone to fall in love or hate each other to the point of killing them. I wonder who could've made those weapons. Sadly those weapons were lost to time and were at some point found again for a time. But then were destroyed by the same person who created them.
Axis and Zanos is behind a lot of the lore that goes on in Wyvern and he's really knowledgeable in it's history. He's actually the apprentice of Zanos in that area. Zanos taught Axis a lot of Wyvern's history and eventually led to being that creator of the infamous and mostly long forgotten Draco-Rubies.
Early Life:
Axis was just a small Trapinch yearning for attention and was eager to learn living the the city of Auromaille in Wyvern. Sol's Father had received an egg of Axis before Sol was even born. When he hatched he was a bright and cheerful boy Trapinch. Zanos showed him around the court yards as well as around the castle and he as well as Lania (The Triforce Snivies' Mother) taught him about Wyvern's history as well as everything that made the world work. Axis took his attention towards electrical devices since they caught his attention the most. Sooner or later he would be placed under Lania's supervision to train him at the same time Zanos taught a lot of stuff to him.
Not too long after, in just 4 weeks after his hatch, Axis would soon evolve into Vibrava since his training was somwehat harsh. Axis kept battling and thriving to do better than most of his knight cohorts in the castle. He would soon go on missions to serve for the Queen and King of his country and eventually have Sol as his friend to stand by him no matter what. At the same time his interests in the electrical fields and mechanisms continued to rise even more. Eventually, he started thinking of how he could use inventions to solve some of the worlds problems. His first invention consisted of making a portable device that could affect temperature of a given area. It didn't really turn out well the first few times as the devices he made either, didn't work, blow up in his face or were poorly build physically (More so the latter since he really didn't have a good grip on everything as a Vibrava. He temporarily left the dream he had since he eventually found out what the final evolution of a Vibrava was. The road to that evolution wasn't easy since battles and missions got harder as time grew and enemies were more complex and clever. Though after losing a certain war comrade Axis and Sol had he had grew to a Flygon after 9 short months. He was small in appearance since he was younger than a year old. Though once he recovered from his losses, he figured he could get back to building some tech.
After a decade passes, Axis became more knowledgeable. He soon had a decent education backing him up and some background into developing devices. He would continue making inventions that would help people including a cleaning bot, drawing machines, and even the long awaited Temperature Inverter. His work continued to build through out his early life.
Draco-Ruby Era:
Axis around the age of twelve stumbled upon Zanos' favorite treats called Draco-Amilia. Zanos mentioned to Axis one time that these orb shaped treats had a lot of power in them and are loved mostly by Dragons. Another name they had were Drakk Snowballs derived "Draak" from latin. Axis had performed a bit of chemistry at the time so he would use a few of them in an experiment. They soon evolved into what were known to be Draco-Rubies which were jewels that would convert anyone that wasn't a dragon or dragon type into one. Some rubies existed before his experiment but he knew of what he needed to produce the same rubies. He researched the history behind the rubies and eventually information was passed down from Zanos to Axis about the Rubies during his research. He also mentioned Axis had hidden power that no one else had in this world. Today he's unlocked that potential and only uses it for safeguarding reasons.
Miiverse Era:
Around the age of 19 Axis was still inventing to better society but felt something was missing. He and his friends' adventures eventually led him of Poke-Air, a facility bent of teaching pokemon how to sky dive. Axis eventually got really acquainted with the staff which included Mimi, Jan, and even the lovable Mabel. He stuck around Mabel quite a lot during his time with her especially around Poke-Air and even the trip to Kalos while Sol and crew was still journeying in Kalos. Sol used a magic prowess that allowed Mabel and Axis to have two adorable children together and start a family. The two started to settle in and got married prior to them having kids. Axis after taking a temporary leave with Mabel soon got back to work on inventing as well as keeping Poke-Air up to date with technological advances. He works with a team of engineers at Poke-Air that discuss what things could make the experience more fun for those who want to learn how to sky dive or para-sail.
He has had a very peaceful life since he and Mabel Trinity got married and he tends to keep it that way. Axis is the technological background lead manager of Poke-Air. The symbol of Courage that is tied to the back of his wings signified him to be bounded by Xeno as his Guardian of Courage. He was chosen by Melissa (Sol's Mother).

-A Ghost and Dragon type form Axis gains. He can access it by playing a certain song on an ocarina but is forced into the form every October. He cannot change back until November 1st if that's the case. It was a curse placed on him through encountering Giratina in one of his adventures.
White-Shining Yoshi
-Form obtained with Flygon-Wings. He gains the appearance of a white yoshi obviously but is much lighter than even his Giragon.
