I guess it wouldn't hurt to start the upcoming year with a new journal, right?

2025, How was it?

So I started 2025 walking into work and basically being told that I was being made redundant. Wasn't exactly the best of starts ^ ^;; And for a good chunk of the year it didn't really get any better, and between looking for work while the situation around me grew more frustrating and miserable.

I did thankfully get another job. But I can't deny that I am still incredibly wary about things.

As for the Luna side of things. Pretty much the same. But, I think I'm working toward making things better for myself on that end! I have been learning to put my foot down, pushing toward regaining the confidence and enjoyment that I had lost with drawing, and also making more of an effort to write more.

It's a momentum that I hope carries into the following year!

For personal achievements in 2025. It's purely on a sentimental side of things, but trailing back to my writing, around July, I had someone on a Discord server tell me how my writing helped put their mind at ease for a (then) upcoming skydive that they booked (and would go on to really enjoy). It really made me stop and think about the impact that my writing and work can have on others, things I never quite considered before. I guess it was a major eye opener, and certainly a morale boost to keep writing! ^ ^. I doubt they would see this. But thank you for helping me see things in my works that I never quite thought about before! Hope you get to jump again soon!!

Either way. While the year was a rough one. That's not to say it was without any joy in it. And I know that I will be marching into next year with an opportunity to pave a path that I want, and have a much brighter year ahead!!

As for art.

I had covered a lot of what I wanted to say for this subject. But to repeat... I am starting to rebuild lost confidence, and find a space where I can work on things with a more positive mindset to my art and writing! For writing, I can confirm that I am working on two more stories focusing on Mabel and Mallory's past, one being a sequel to Never Too Old (feel free to check it out if you haven't!), and the other is more of a prequel exploring the events that led to Mabel learning to get her A-License under Mallory's mentorship.

As for art, I will be trying to make more of a push to do more with my own characters, and include them more in future art! I have over a hundred characters at this point, wouldn't be fair if Mabel hogged the spotlight now! X3

To sum things up...

Year was bad, but there's hope for better ahead. And expect more art and writing soon!
