Aw yeah! I'm not sure how well fruit and rice would go together but it's a neat concept. As for critique you have a good sense of the upper torso and it has a convincing weight to it, I know your aware of the head but I'd recommend keeping it a little less symmetrical to make it natural feeling.

The right cheek looks alright considering the other cheek isn't too rotund, however if you make the eye on that side a little more rounded it'll give it a more three dimensional look because the eye that's closest to the viewer will be distinguished from the one that is towards the back.
