Amber was a dutiful gem on Homeworld, carrying out her duties efficiently and effectively. As much as she was competent, being overworked got to her, and she grew unhappy with Homeworld's doctrine. While she didn't actively fight in Rose Quartz's rebellion, she took the chance to get away from Homeworld's order whenever possible with other like-minded gems, before eventually coming to Earth many years later.

Nowadays on Earth, she lives a far more casual and relaxed lifestyle. She enjoys lounging at home, good food and sleep (even if gems don't necessarily need it). :P
