Made in 2016 as apart of 24 Hour Comics Day, I'd worked on this comic for 24 hours straight from sketch to color and lettering.
So this comic features Eldaria crew:

I wanted to a short mini-comic of a snippet into the world of Eldaria, but I messed up with this by over-lettering the shit out of it. (Which was a real bad habit I had up until about page 110 of Zach Cooner Vol 1 lol)
For those new:
"Long story short, Kyus belongs to a magical to a very powerful avian race in Eldaria called the Garins (The Guardians). The Garins were created by the gods of the world and were in charge of keeping order and peace in the realm between the races and otherworldly threats (though they were kind of arrogant assholes). Due to a reason I can't disclose due to spoilers, the race was wiped out and in their last act, they sent their dying light to our realm to keep the race alive.
Kyus spent the first 18 years of his life believing he was human until the fateful day of his 18th birthday where a near-death experience cause his Garin self to manifest for the first time. Within every Garin is a tethered light, an external manifestation of the good in their hearts that acts a sort of personal assistant (Like a Ghost from Destiny), but this causes some troubles for Kyus as he doesn't know anything about his heritage, and Firefly doesn't know anything about human customs. There's literally BOOKS worth of more to the story than that, but basically Eldaria is going to heck in a hand basket with a threat that will eventually threaten our world too, and Kyus is the key to stopping it.
I always liked the idea of a protagonist having to come-of-age and decide between the duties society sets for them and their true calling, especially when the thought of the true calling makes the protag fearful those closest to them would reject or treat them differently."
Here we see Kyus training with Ash, King Roland's first-born daughter who takes no shit from anyone and refuses to conform to traditional upper-class culture, (her father encourages it). She's a fighter through and true. King Roland is training Kyus (otherwise everyone is screwed when time runs out on the plot I can't disclose at this time), but it doesn't seem to be going well.
I was playing around with Kyus's personality at the time, going away from the sort of Shonnen-esque babyface hero to a much more grounded and crass personality (he's kind of an asshole XD ) , if anything this was like...the beta version of Zach Cooner's personality. Yes I totally used Roman Reign's attire for Kyus. lol
As for Eldaria, the first book in the series will be finished this year (apart of a trilogy that leads to the Visual Novels) , if you have any questions let me know ^^
Hope you all enjoy!
