This bat-lookin demon is the boss of the Snow Temple in Zelda: Spirit Tracks (which is a surprisingly excellent Zelda game and one of my top favorites in the series). He's a classic "I use ice and fire, so hit me with one when I'm wielding the other" boss. But he is more aggressive than the likes of Twinrova, taking breaths only just deep enough for you to prepare your boomerang to fling heat or cold from his missed attacks at him... and to become unashamedly inflated in the process.
If you've seen my Tokay, you probably already figured out that I like to cutesy up Zelda creatures if I don't already love their look. I felt Fraaz could use some of that... a little more fluff, a less animal expression. After drawing the ears I almost decided to give him whiskers like a Pols Voice, but thought it made the face too cluttered. But Pols Voice is one of my favorite monsters from Zelda so I threw one in there anyway as the one Fraaz is chilling a drink for.
