Ah 2016's Wrestlemania that saw the start of the Miz revamping his career, the end of the Divas championship (thank goodness), Project Roman Reigns in full swing (much to viewers displeasure), The New Day being The New Day, and more. A lot of the mainstay superstars of WWE were injured at this time but that's another story.
MCAD's Wrestling Club was going to stream Wrestlemania in the Student Commons area with the movie projector, food, drinks, and deserts. (Sort of like a party). To promote it, they wanted artists to draw promo work for the event by drawing the wrestlers.
I was tasked with drawing WWE Superstar (Now retired due to long-term injury) Paige....though it ended up looking like a woman cosplaying as Paige. lol
For those who don't know Paige, she was the subject of The Rock's movie "Fighting with my Family" and was a prodigious young wrestler from the UK who had the 'It' factor.

She enjoyed a successful carreer in WWE but it was cut short due to her neck injuries.

Just last week at the Royal Rumble AJ Styles over-rotated trying to make Edge (a returning legend) look good and dislocated his shoulder.
I love the spectacle and respect the hell out of the wrestlers who sacrifice a lot for the show.
