.:Sketch:. Grimmsnarl Breeds
Just a little headcanon thing on the various types of Grimmsnarl breeds there can be.
As listed, here are the breeds I have:
-Hairless: Extremely rare to come across and are mostly kept as a domestic breed. They are the smallest of Grimmsnarl breeds and weakest given the lack of hair used to help them survive and fight though they can still be dangerous on their accord when upset or threatened. What they lack with their hair is made up with their teeth and sharp claws, even if their teeth are a lot smaller then the other breeds. They need to be constantly protected from over exposure from the elements such as too much sunlight and cold weather and need constant baths twice a week to keep their skin happy and healthy.
-Fighting/Labor: The biggest and strongest breed of the bunch, these Grimmsnarl are bred solely for the purposes of their strength and size. This breed also tends to be extremely aggressive, territorial, and easily provoked; lashing out at anything they may deem a threat. Their hair is much thicker compared to others for protective purposes when fighting others and for enhancing their strengths in work/battle. Their bite is perhaps the most powerful of the group as well, easily biting through bones and armor like twigs. This particular breed is not meant for beginners.
-Domestic: The second smallest breed and the most docile of the group, the domesticated Grimmsnarl is perhaps the most sought after for many trainers and Pokémon keepers alike. Their hair is known to be very plushy and soft, almost as soft as angora fur and is very warm to be around on cold winter nights. Their teeth are not as large as some of the other breeds as it makes them less threatening, but they can still pack a powerful bite if annoyed enough or threatened. They do require lots of grooming to keep their hair from knotting up or matting as well as a good trim and bath twice a month. These Grimmsnarl are the most protective and loyal breed for any trainer to have.
The idea for this breed is entirely in credit to my awesome friend

-Show: This breed is specifically made for the spot light of Pokémon shows, being perhaps the most spoiled and lazy of the group. Because they are so relaxed and do not spend their time fighting, their hair tends to drag and does not stick to their body as a means of bulking up; letting their hair flow down like a silky gown. Because of this, they need constant grooming on a daily basis to keep their hair from getting dirty and matting up. Baths are given at least twice a week along with a few trims and check ups every month. This breed also has the longest and biggest set of teeth, which often helps in their display of showmanship in contests and shows. Shiny Grimmsnarl are especially prized within the Show breed.
-Feral/Wild: The common breed of Grimmsnarl found anywhere within the wilds of the Galar region. Their temperament usually depends on the areas they are found, ranging from docile to territorial and aggressive. They don't approach humans very easily and prefer to keep their distance unless they feel brave and tend to be loners living in a small territory of their own. Sometimes, they will bunch up in groups for grooming and socializing sessions and hunting parties if the prey they seek is too big for them to handle alone. They are very protective of their young and will not be afraid to attack if their home or pups are threatened.

I love all of them!
I've always had this headcanon that a grimmsnarls hair functions more like how Bayonettas does: all the hair on their body grows from their head, and they can manipulate it like limbs to wrap and cling to their body forming a suit of armor. Then when relaxed they can let their hair fall and flow, and they resemble Rapunzel where it all hangs and flows from the head.
I like to imagine myself as a trainer going to a Pokemon Contest, and my pokemon is a Grimmsnarl. Hes dressed in a little tuxedo, and all his hair is put up in a massive long braid down his back, like Rapunzel did when visiting Corona in Tangled.
