Osaigon Meowth, the scratch cat pokemon
Meowth is a pokemon that was brought by explorers to the Osai region a long time ago. They have ratty pelts of coarse fur and mean dispositions from living in big cities and getting along however they can. They attack glameow on sight, and generally come out on top in such encounters. Their fangs and claws carry a poison that can cause rashes and fevers, but because they keep away other pests, people tolerate them. Osaigon meowth bond deeply with their trainers and will always do their best to help them out of a bad spot, even if they pretend to ignore their trainer sometimes. Osaigon meowth evolves into Smoggie at level 30.
Smoggie, the hairless cat pokemon
When smoggie evolves from meowth it sheds its fur to rid itself of pests. The poison coating its claws is deadly, and it rubs that poison onto the fur on its ears, head, and tail to protect them. They have a keen sense of smell and know how to find food and medicine in even badly polluted areas. Smoggie's cruel appearance hides its sweet nature - it looks after the meowth in its territory and will nurse injured meowth back to health. Because of this, smoggie is becoming popular among older people since it instinctively wants to take care of them. They grudgingly tolerate being dressed up in colder weather.
