I reworked the story and put it in a format that i hope that FA will recognize. It's my take on Mechanized combat and it's possible implementation. Here's the synopsis.

*clears his throat in order to sound like a monster truck rally announcer*

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!!! Get ready for mech crunching, Trap crushing, Metal exploding mayhem!

*end monster truck rally voice*

In the future Mechanized combat is now a reality, however the military has declined such forms of combat feeling it to be too complex and not worth the cost to maintain each mech. In light of this the many corperations of the world saw potential in this and turned it into a true sport for the many sponsors and spectators alike. Now mech combat has become a common sport just like football and baseball. Follow team 8 Ball as they try to climb their way to the top.
