"Normally when I haven't posted in a long while i'm in some "artist's block". But sometimes I'm experimenting. I was working on a piece but got sidetracked with the software Inkscape. I used it before on a few pieces but only to create outlines for backgrounds, and even then in a limited fashion. I started messing around with perspective and 3D stuff which I might post some later. Then I got interested in Inkscape's gradient mesh tools and got hooked. I've always been fascinated with mesh because I've seen in used to create some photo realistic art in vectors. It requires a completely different way of thinking about color and shading. And it is very slow, or at least I haven't found a faster way to do it."
