People are sooo cheap... They think they should get everything for $5

Naaah... most people just don't know the value of the work they ask for.

But on the flip side, there are some people who charge way too much for the work they do.

Like MilesDF for example, charging over $5000 for a picture.

Their problem since people not wanting to pay that won't commission them. And if some people have the nonsense to spit out that much money, their trouble too.

Getting underpaid for what you do is the real problem for the artist/ professional. :(

That's true. A few years back there was someone pushing artists to charge by the hour, because they wanted to charge more but other people doing better work were charging less.

And mind you this was before streaming was around, so there would be no way for a customer to tell exactly how long an artist really worked on it. They could have said 8 hours, popped it out in 10 minutes and spent the rest of the time playing games.
