Tried to go for a B-movie esq title there... not sure if it worked right... anyways, NX-42 recently put out an open species hypsos and they looked cool. My interest was pushed further when reading about them, to the point I felt like making one, which in turn lead to Navu here. I based "his" (they're not exactly one gender or the other usually and also don't use typical pronouns) colors/pattern in a little sea slug I saw on Google (the chromodoris willani).
