So here's one of my more major species in my world building, Gou Gyraya~

Info: The Gou Gyraya often named Gou for short, are a rare species that is feared for their considerable size and immense strength alongside incredibly dangerous temperament, seemingly lusting for destruction. Being masters of Dark Element they can gout powerful beams and release the Element in many different forms. In history there had been a specific Gou that was worshipped out of fear for those being punished by its wrath. This specific Gou being dubbed a Altar Great Beast had proved to be quite hard to keep eased and eventually a major event had been triggered by the creature referred to as "The day of Dusk." An event that would have been a major catastrophic occurrence in history had it not been for hindsight. The worshippers knowing the danger such a beast could bring had built the Altar with a specialized mechanism to entrap the beast. Though by the time it had been complete this event had lasted for a long enough period to damage certain parts of the land leaving reminders of the creatures sheer power, pinned within the Altar the beast could no longer bring it's wrath to the land. It is unclear is this specific Gou is currently living but some believe it still lies dormant trapped within the very prison that was built around it.

Combat info: Gou Gyraya can easily throw around their bodies to cause damage to their surroundings using their forelimbs to rip apart the land. but equally pose the ability to use extreme amounts of Dark Element at their disposal typically in the form of beams or even radiate it from their bodies. It is believed however this isn't the true extent of their power.

Diet: Given it's size this species can easily take out and devour other good sized species and won't hesitate to hunt anything it encounters in a more natural habitat.
