Adventurers always need something to store their loot and mounds of gear. So the ever ubiquitous Bag of Holding has become a worthwhile investment if one can afford it or commission a wizard to fashion one. But when one becomes damaged or the enchantment goes bad, the item becomes cursed. It becomes a Bag of Devouring. An almost innocuous sack that hides a terrible toothy maw with a near bottomless appetite. This one is Tolpaz, an awakened Bag of Devouring who loves to eat magical treasure, gems, and the occasional monster. She does miss the days of being a valued part of an adventurer's kit, but then her mind wanders toward how yummy adventurers themselves can be since they're always heavy with gear, gold, and magic items. She's often left wondering why they just don't throw down their stuff and just feed her the buffet of gold pieces and enchanted steel they lug around with them. Why else would they be made of meat and treasure if they didn't want her to eat them?
