*I drew these before I'd settled on Alloran's Shorm design. You'll notice it changes shape. (I've got it in a sort of scimtar curve in most of my sketches.)
*From left to right, Cassie (osprey), Tobias (Red-tailed hawk), Rachel (Bald Eagle), Jake (Peregrine Falcon), Marco (slightly less well-groomed osprey), and Ax (northern harrier). I always knew this would end in a sunset, but oy, was this part tough.
*Yes, that is the worst rhyme you're going to see in this entire comic. Rhyming "isn't it" with "mizzen tit."
*Ax, what are you doing, you're not old enough to watch "Rocky Horror."
*In the last panel I just started drawing feather textures and couldn't stop. So I wrote "Angst." And now it works.
