The wound were indeed jagged when he first recived it!
But it ended up healing into some pretty straight furrowed scars, taken the fur-regrowth into account etc.

They are really ment for grabbing more than chewing, so when it lost the grip on Mori´rai, the resulting scraping of teeth ended up making very straight wounds.
