Personality :: Val being a stray since a pup has brought her up into the hardships of life, forging a quite timid and quite dog. She lives in constant fear, always second-guessing her moves and will always find a safer route. She has big trust issues meaning she is mostly a loner and doesn't interact with others often. She only searches for food at night as she believes its the best time to leave cover, but if another dog tries to steal her meal she would give it up without a thought and leave with her life. She has a hard time ever standing up for herself, since the first and only time she did it got a chunk of her ear ripped off and she lost her tail. She's always skittish and easily spooked, if you get too close she'll overreact and bite out of fear.
Lore :: Valkyrie was the result of an unwanted litter and was cast out in a box out in the cold the moment she was off the teat. No one ever picked her up from the street because of her looks, she was no pretty purebred, she had no strong muscle and she was very small. Not exactly a prize pick for humans to be looking for in a pup.
She was adopted by two dogs, a lesbian couple that took the poor pup under their wing and took it upon them to raise her, giving her the strong name, Valkyrie.
When Val was only 7 months old, her adopted parents were caught by the pound. Valkyrie was able to hide away because she was so small and wasn't seen by the human catchers. Her mothers never returned from the pound and the horror stories they told her about the pound became reality.
She was alone again, with each day that passed she grew even more skittish and distant from any other strays or humans. Her mothers taught her to be afraid, being afraid meant a higher chance of survival since no risks were taken.

Hehe! I always LOVED the name/word Valkyrie and I'm so happy I finally have an OC with that name, I always imagined the character would be white/silver but I think the name is just fine for this lil sweet heart :).
