I switched to the white filament to do the final print of the upper set of the fangs for my dragon fursuit. The new filament is a bit more flexible than the old magenta that I bought used. Seems PLA gets brittle over time. I'll probably have to reprint these in a few years, most likely in ABS or in the rubberlike TPU. Maybe an even better material will be available by then.
Oddly the surface quality of this filament is not as good as the old. I don't know if it is the generic brand I got off of eBay. I am using a higher extrusion temperature. I saw a test where that make he parts a little stronger at the expense of finish but I used the same temp on the old filament too. I guess I have to live with it though I plan to sand these prints smoother anyway so that is moot here.
By the way, I used 4 layers (1.6mm thickness) with no infill. It took 3 hours and 25 minutes to print. I bundled the fangs close together to speed up the print time as distance adds up with all those layers. I modeled the parts in Blender 2.8 and sliced it with Cura 4.4.0, all free and excellent products so check them out.
Depending on how it looks, I might paint them. Maybe add some shading with a darker color to give it more definition. Maybe for Halloween, I could print out red blood-like caps to make it extra scary, hmmmm, I'll have to experiment with those. Anyone have any other ideals I can use? I am still very new to 3D printing.

Yeah, modeling is fun though it can be a pain. I think it'll be worth it in the end.
I'll probably start with a new sculpt for the bottom teeth so that they won't look like a mirror image of the top. Plus gives me more practice.
I also bought some transparent filament. Might use them for the horns so I can light them up on the inside. I think it'll be a cool effect. But I have to make those in sections as my printer can't go that high. The seams will probably show but I'll give it a try anyway.
