My Spyro the Dragon character Sahara.
She's the queen of the Gazelle Fauns tribe. I drew her with what she wears in fights (almonst nothing, lol).
Infos:
Name: Sahara the Third (III), but often spelled Sahara.
Age: 76 years old.
(It's like 32 years old in human age)
Species: Faun
Race: Gazelle
"Gazelle fauns are a bit different than the other fauns: in their first years, they look like more human, with only some gazelle features, like the hooves.
When you meet a Gazelle faun, you can easily understand her (Gazelle faun tribe has only female members) rank in the clan thanks to the horns. Infact, those are very important in their hierarchy:
Long horns (About 90 cm) mean power, regality, importance. Only the queen or her relatieves can have them.
Medium horns (About 50 cm) are for important grades in the army hierarchy, like commanders, captains, colonels.
No horns at all are for the normal fauns that live in the tribe, doing various jobs.
Gazelle fauns use to kiss eachother as a salute, on the cheek, but in formal occasions the Queen herself kiss on the lips.
The tribe has external contacts with other tribes or creatures rarely. They're close by nature, suspicious and they don't want to share their knowledge, but who has a gazelle faun friend can surely say that they are also sweet and wise.
Like the Giraffe, Zebra and Oryx fauns Gazelle fauns live exclusively in hot savannah places.
Height: 2 meters.
Family: Sahara II (mother, the old queen now dead), Karaba (her sister, an evil witch).
Karaba and Sahara born the same day, in the same moment, so they have exactly the same age.
Dream: Kill her sister, that murdered their mother to take the throne.
Character: Wise and close, just like the other fauns of her race. She governs her kingdom with apparent cleverness, but inside herself she wants the mother with her: she became queen at (human age) 16 years old, when the sister killed the mother. She feels insecure, fears the past... Fears the sister.
Alignment: Good
Loves: Her tribe, books, peace, fight.
Hates: Karaba, wickedness.
