12/21/19: The Rombeiros' house-winner of GCLF-preview!
To everyone, happy holidays!
If you are in the USA, there is the show called "The Great Christmas Light Fight" on the US channel, ABC: https://abc.com/shows/the-great-chr.....as-light-fight . For 2019, on episode 6 of the season, which is the last one of the season (You will find the video of this in the website above.), there was competition, and this house in Novato, CA has won in its competition of 4, US$50,000 for such a spectacle and a trophy! It was a fine house and it was a darling to look at as there was lots of crafty things there and lots of Christmas spirit in and outside of it. I did get a total of 38 photos, but there were some that were faulty. I will edit them and see if I can save them. Lots of people were in spirit at this house, and they love what the Rombeiros have done.
For those that are outside of ABC's broadcast area, the story here is that the Portuguese family has had the tradition of decorating the house they live in. The sad thing is that the patriarch of the family had suffered a stroke, therefore, he is confined to a wheelchair and had his other family members decorate the house for him. The win they have was for Mr. Romberio, primarily and they are proud to continue the Christmas tradition whether or not the patriarch can walk.
Of course, I was in fursuit, and soon, there will be pictures of me as Cory wandering around the street and the house looking how sensational this house has in showing Christmas spirit.
If you want to see this house, it is admission free and it will be lit up until Epiphany, January, 6th. The address is:
