When the urSkek had approached him, SarKu was reluctant to speak, let alone look at him. He was one of the politicians that worked alongside his father and any wrong move would surely result in the worst for the urSkek. He was, after all, deemed to be a loon among his peers and was already on a thin line barely escaping banishment. Yet, despite his initial thoughts, the other did not ridicule or shoo him away, but instead offered a friendly smile in turn and pressed a hand to his chest in greeting.
"Don't be alarmed. I only wish to offer you something." He spoke softly. He then extended his other hand and brought forth a flower, offering it to SarKu. "This is for you." Glowing eyes stared at the plant before him with pleasant surprise. This was a first he had ever been surprised with a gift, let alone something as lovely as this. Still, it seemed odd to him and he looked at the other with a tilt of his head.
"But...why?" He inquired in bemusement, reluctant to take the flower from his hand.
The urSkek merely chuckled lightly as gently placed the flower into SarKu's hand, holding it for a moment. "Because I think you're more then what others say you are and deserve to know this." He replied through that same soft smile, squeezing SarKu's hand in reassurance before letting him go.
A little something light for a change of pace for all the dark, depressing stuff I've been working on. There was a brief moment in life where SarKu did find someone who truly did care for him. Being as he was a politician, SarKu was very mistrustful but soon found out that his feelings were indeed true and together they spent many of their days with one another despite objections from various individuals.

I have to figure out a name for this guy now, haha. Told myself not to make anymore OCs and here I am still completely disregarding my own advice pff.
Yes, but not really? SarKu didn't want him to be ruined with idea that he was with him, so broke it off for the sake of saving himself the ridicule and the possible threat of banishment. He didn't want to as he really felt for him, but he felt it was the best thing to do much to the other's constant reassurance he would not care. But eventually he too understood and they kept a good relationship even after until SarKu himself was banished by his own brother for letting YalYor run away.

Oh trust me, if SarKu wasn't afraid for the fact that his own father and brother would have tried and have him banished or killed just because he took interest in him, the two would have become a mated pair for life. Usually SarKu doesn't care if his own life is at risk, but when someone he cares for is, that's when he worries most. At the very least they did have and were able to show a real healthy relationship could be achieved even after a break up happened! :')
