.:Sketch:. skekTir and urTal
A possible what if/AU in which TirTal is still alive and banished alongside VirDhas when his corrupt nature is discovered, VirDhas being blamed as the soul source of said corruption.
When TirTal is split into two, he takes on the forms of skekTir and urTal.
skekTir would proclaim the title as a judge of sorts, making firm and strict creation and enforcement of law that are all punishable in cruel and sadistic methods. Though not the Emperor, he certainly holds a good amount of power in the Skeksis court with his firm and swift judgements and willingly passes sentencing for the Emperor to make final statements on if he agrees or not.
urTal's title is still unknown though much like his Skeksis counterpart, he is very strict and firm with his views. He is one of the few urRu who is not afraid to inflict physical violence onto others when he deems it fit, considering it as such a means to maintain order and control. His methods are not viewed in good graces of the other urRu though he seems to care very little about the matter, tending to his own business most times.
Both counterparts still consider themselves to be attached spiritually to skekVir and urDhas, maintaining the same control they had in their urSkek form over the two.
Even when split TirTal is a piece of shit. He will forever be the trashman.

Yeah this guy, no matter how often he can deny it, is just a scum bag through and through no thanks to his upbringing either.
Luckily for VirDhas's halves, they still have their knives handy and both of TirTal's would have be a little more careful this time given skekVir will not hesitate to hurt him with it. urDhas though, it may take him a bit of time to ever act on using his weapon unless urTal takes it from him, though that is something he would never allow.

Unfortunately yes. They both come from a very high class family since their father was a politician, much like a judicial figure (a position to which would be passed onto TirTal when the time came about). TirTal being the oldest was viewed with a lot of great potential, so he actually had an easier life then SarKu. SarKu was viewed as a runt and weakling, therefore a burden and was often the target of being picked on and beaten. SarKu was also very vocal of his thoughts during his early years, to which wasn't met with the best of embraces from his family as well as extreme ideas were often viewed as folly, so now he more so keeps his silence and thoughts to himself. Their father also filled TirTal's head with the same views he had, molding him into the way he is and also had no qualms or conflicts of hurting others in front of him as well (even to the point of letting TirTal get involved and try his hand in said activities).
In a way, TirTal is the apple that didn't fall too far from the tree that was his father but maybe turned out to be a bit worse.

Sadly, yes. Everything his father did to her and to SarKu was viewed and taught to him as something that was natural to happen, especially to those they would think and deem weak (thus easier for them to prey on their victims and continuously control them). SarKu knew it was bad from the start and spoke up about it but ended up being silenced. And for a short moment in the start, he did think it was wrong. But with being constantly told it was normal and molded into the ideal successor to do as he pleases, he ended up keeping this idea with him over what seemed to be the right thing to do and not do it.
If she could, she would have. Poor girl though died a few months after SarKu was born, his birth being both difficult and taking a great toll on her over remaining health. Had she the chance, she would have simply had herself banished and took her children with her just to be far from that man.
oooooh ooh oh. so they were banished? for a second I thought in this what if he survived that lash out was sent along to "help" or "volunteered" out of the "goodness" to help his "mate" and keep an eye on the others...
welp if there one thing im glad about the banishment least they didn't get some sort of warden or volunteers to "help" with rehabilitation or need updates thra would not survive.

In this AU, TirTal would be banished as opposed to being killed in the "canon" timeline his mate follows. But I am liking your thoughts on the reason for banishment a bit more then my own, so chances are some things are going to be changed as the AU is not quite official and still in the works!
Only good thing I can say of him being banished is he won't be hurting others on his own world, but the bad thing is, he's on Thra and tormenting others to his own whim and will, including his mate. Its better off for him to be gone then alive anywhere lol/
