Organize your icons.

I didn't notice that at first, but YES OMG TONS OF ICONS. I'm OCD and leave only the recycle bin on my desktop (if I can help it).

I have 6 icons, 2 of them are folders with sub folders etc, and the rest are necessary things like recycle bin, computer, Firefox, and games explorer.

I have the recycle bin and the files of current projects on my desktop, while icons to programs are pinned in the start menu and in custom toolbars in the taskbar.

Win 7 and Mac are great for that since the start menu and Quicksilver can deliver everything to you. My desktop's down to just a couple of folders.

Yeah, but with all this space it just feels wasted otherwise!

Haha, I usually have programs maximized (or tiled to fill up the screen), so I never really notice my empty desktop.

Wow, you've got way more room on your desk than I do! As for your windows desktop, may I suggest a dock manager, and sort your stuff out into individual folders? (ie: games, software, tools) Google "Rocket Dock".

I dunno, I kinda like having something to break up the constantly scrolling background.... XD

I switched to 7 a while ago, it's kinda killed the need to have any icons.

Very interesting to see your setup! I always love to see peoples' computer setups or room layouts because it makes you seem like an actual person in an actual, physical place somewhere (which I'm pretty sure you are >_>) instead of just "the internet."

I do not think you understand the correct usage of "Stoleded. I shall explain.

There are actually 5 hard drives in the pile, a TB drive half hidden behind the right monitor, but you're right about the phone. I love it more than I love cake. And I'm fat, so you know I fucking LOVE cake.
