Shades of Life Extra Scenes - Yoshi Prank Pt 2
Young Yoshi tend to be very competitive in their early years, and even into adulthood if not taught properly. Generally this nature is in good spot in relation to their own kind, but I have observed that this behavior is increased when concerning other species, especially of those they consider enemies.
While it is true that young Yoshi can have voracious appetites and are able to swallow prey whole for sustenance, they are unable to produce eggs. This is generally the practice older Yoshi use when faced with danger, encasing an enemy in the eggs they can create. Thus, young Yoshi generally must find a more creative way to handle what they perceive as a threat.
Of course, this competitive nature doesn't always lead to fatal ends. Many young Yoshi tend to be mischievous, playing with those they simply 'think' are a foe. Proving themselves to be smarter than their enemy is, of course, a factor that shows Yoshi do have a sense of personal pride. However, whether this pride is humorous or deplorable is on a case-by-case basis...
