A while back my mom and I got into watching Cheers and I grew quite attached to Coach. Then somewhere along the way I found myself picturing him as a Bosty an I had draw him. The first attempt didn't quite work but, the second I am very happy with.
I'd had this sketch in my sketchbook a good while and back in September I decided to do a bit more character design and expression practice as well as practice with my new brush pens. They are a lot of fun and it was a good way to work through art block.
Artists if you're ever dealing with a rough case of art block and you have the time, consider taking something you'd sketched a while back and using that as a jumping off point. It can be quite helpful.
