He was in dire need of a new reference. I was right sorry for him...
Now he is not deprived of anything~
He has undergone the only change - changed the tail of the Akita to the tail of the Husky.
It's time to tell a little about my boy.
His name is Shikota. His mother was a striped Akita, and his father was a Siberian Husky. From his mother he received a calm temperament and selfless devotion. And his father gave him kind temperament, endurance and good health. With such qualities, he stood out among his brothers and sisters. In early childhood he was bought to work in the postal dog sled. It was a team that delivered letters all over Alaska. The dogsled went anywhere and in any weather to deliver the letters.
Shikota believed that every letter is filled with someone's soul and heart. No one deserves to be lost.
He was originally a swing(point) dog. But quickly changed his position to the position of team leader. Thanks to strong and long legs, he was the fastest dog in the team. Shikota well oriented on the terrain, which was very important, because the correct choice depended the lives of humans and other dogs.
But such a happy life did not last long. Once, when the team once again delivered the letters, the route passed through the snow-covered mountains. For unknown reasons, an avalanche began to descend from the mountain. Shikota immediately rushed forward, trying to find the path of at least some shelter from the rapidly-advancing snow. But the avalanche came too fast and the team managed to escape from imminent death.
He managed to get out of the rubble. But when he got to the surface, he saw that there was no one else. He began to frantically dig the snow in different places and hysterically barking. The dog noticed that the harness on his body was torn. He began to dig that hole from which he got out, along the harness cables. But the snow was so dense and it was so much that all attempts were in vain. The dog climbed out of the pit and began to dig in a different place. Suddenly, his paws stumbled on something. It was a man with a box of letters tied around him. He was lifeless, his mouth was bleeding. Shikotan began to drag him to the surface with all his might. Pulling the man to the surface, he lay down on his front paws and began to lick his face. The man came to, but he couldn't move. Because of such a strong blow and fall he suffered multiple injuries. He removed the remnants of the harness with Shikota, he tied them all together and put it back on the dog. The man removed part of the rope and tied it to the dog harness, saying only one word "home". After that, the man stopped breathing, closed his eyes and died. Even a few hours it is a watchdog spent on this place. With the dawn he rose, shook himself, howled and ran towards the house.
Returning to the town, Shikota ran to the post office, chewed the rope, leaving a box with letters at the door and ran away.
He ran nonstop for days until he fell to the ground tired. When he came to himself and saw the dawn again, the dog growled. Now he hated it. The sun, as if mocked him and his grief.
Since then, he has never returned home and travels the world trying to escape from himself.
