Commentary for April 5, 2014:

Give yourself a pat on the back if you correctly attributed Sally Acorn's quote to Carl Sagan.

The academy was pretty straightforward to throw together, honestly, but the first panel took a bit of doing. However, I discovered a much faster method for drawing backgrounds, as I mentioned in the commentary for the previous page, so it was easier than I might have expected.

Again, trying to get back to more of a Sonic style with my characters, and I think I'm not doing too badly. Certainly, the characters don't look stupidly buff now... which actually wasn't intentional in previous chapters, but the stands-ins I was using in the 3D models of the sets I use kept throwing me off. I've since fixed that and I think I'm doing a much better job of proportioning characters this chapter.

In order to bring the format of the earlier chapters into line with Chapter 7 onwards, I’ve made an updated version of this page, which is larger, with clearer text. Hopefully, this will make the earlier chapters easier to read.
