Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is a wonderful size, very breathable, wonderful vision, and everyone can hear me when I talk inside. I wish it would be a tad bit more snug on me but overall I'm pleased. The lining is soft and has good ventilation.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
Overall, it is very cute! The fur colors and other materials match perfectly to her design. The fabrics used are very soft and I can tell that they are of quality. The shaving on Cupcake is somewhat choppy but not bad enough to immediately notice. The symmetry of her mouth, mask, and eyes are a bit off due to the rush she was made in, but is overall good. The following eyes are wonderful, but I am a bit underwhelmed with the paint job. Her facial expression is a little too neutral but still cute. The head perfectly matches the concept art.

Special Attachments and Features
Please describe how satisfied you are with any extra features your head has.
The special feature on Cupcake is that she wears a skull mask. FoxySox did a really good job on keeping it overall even and did really good on the attached teeth. The fabric is soft minky. The mask is a permanent feature.

How was your concept art realized?
I am very satisfied with how it matches to my own art and design of Cupcake!


How well does everything fit together and match up?
The sewing on the inside is obviously rushed and there was unsewn sections on Cupcake' s cheek tufts. The head is consistent with FoxySox's style, albeit not her best work. The head fits great for me but a tad bit too big in the back. The back of the head points out somewhat awkwardly.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
It was very easy to contact her through messaging in Instagram. Her guidelines and standards were very easy to understand. I paid for Cupcake in full through PayPal.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Initially FoxySox was very diligent in responding. But then as the completion date came closer and closer, I would not hear anything from her for months at a time.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
If she were better with keeping contact with her customers, I'd say she's fairly professional. FoxySox is friendly but she did not give me or any other customer an explanation on how late she was until customers and I banded together. Me and other customers had to reach out to her family to finally get a response.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
I paid in full for Cupcake on April 15, 2018. FoxySox told me and it was also written in her TOS that it would take a year in queue and 2 weeks to complete and ship. I was left in the dark for months, I was answered in August 2019 that it'd be finished and shipped. I waited without further response until I gathered with other waiting angry customers. I finally received Cupcake a week ago from today. I was very grateful that FoxySox paid for shipping and had included insured tracking.


Are you happy with the product you received?
I am overall pleased with it. The head meets lower than my expectations. I believe the head could be a bit better for the price I paid. I have paws and a tail from other makers and they match wonderfully with the head. I am weary about how long Cupcake will last due to her being rushed.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
I wish the first time ordering my first fursuit head wasn't so much of a hassle, but I am grateful for having an overall good ending. I continue to keep in contact with other people who have commissioned her to make sure everyone has been refunded or given their fursuits, finished or not. In general, FoxySox comes off to me as a very hard working, nice, and passionate lady. I feel that she has bitten off way more than she could chew, but I'm relieved to see that she's catching up to everyone she left hanging. FoxySox has stated that after she is finished refunding current customers and shipping off fursuits, she will discontinue accepting fursuit commissions. I am hopeful she will at least make premade fursuits after a long break because she has an amazing talent and has been creating suits for so many years. If none of this mess had happened, I would totally recommend FoxySox Studios. However, due to her negligence to update patient customers, I wouldn't recommend or work with her again. I may purchase a finished premade from her but I'd never commission her again.
