Hybrid was... interesting. Far more interesting than carnage, who was a one trick pony. On the other hand, Hybrid was pretty quickly reduced to angsty nonsense near the end... *sigh* and then they decided to make someone even worse; Toxin.
Personally, I was a big fan of Venom and Scream. Great combo.
