Yes. We cry for a scene where a machine like the terminator experiences emotion for the first time, but the only time he will ever experience emotion before sacrificing himself.

This scene, i will say, impacted me. A machine emotionally bonding with young John Conner only and built a possibility of a future of earning emotion, but willingly gives up that chance at a future to ensure John Conner will live a happy life.

He believed that it would be very sad that he could not show that emotion, it is the first time that a machine says that and takes himself into account.

I'm not sure I can agree with that. If you have a machine that was able to understand the value of human life and experiences, wouldn't any chips deriving from that also understand said values? Besides, all the of sequels prove that Skynet would simply come from another source, implying that it is impossible for John to have a reality without Skynet because he would not exist without Skynet.

it's possible someone could reverse engineer the chip from the t-800 and since skynet made those chips it could be used to recreate skynet all over again

Perhaps. Still, I wonder if a good T-800 that could stay around for a long time would be strong enough to defend himself from his parts being used for evil? I explore some concepts like that in my writing.
