Commentary for October 1, 2019:

Much like in the version of this story originally told in Eon’s Comic, over sixteen years ago, this chapter is where two separate plot threads merge. First, there is the whole situation with Shadow, of course, and second is the predicament the Echidna Empire was left in at the end of the previous chapter. Of course, given that the whole Shadow business started because of Horatio’s experiments with portals, I guess it’s more of a matter of two plot threads reconnecting, really.
