Commentary for September 18, 2019:

I’m actually really quite comfortable with zooming in like this for some panels. It’s just a waste of space to have a panel like 2 and 6, where there’s only one character in shot zoomed out to the standard “distance”.

With the Echidna Empire sending a force to Angel Island (which they have been getting ready to do since the end of Chapter 13, the stage is being set now for the season finale. But there is one loose end that needs to be tied up before then, which is what this chapter is all about.

And, of course, yes it was Evelyn Blackwood behind that newspaper on the previous page, so well done anyone who spotted her eavesdropping on CJ and Sally. We’ll be seeing more of her in season 2, which will begin after Vol. 2, Chapter 10. I am enjoying working on Vol. 1, so I really wish I could do both at the same time, but I don’t want to overwork myself like that.
