Meant to post this yesterday, but the site was buggy. Anyways, some Fakemon with a split evolution determined by gender and or other factors. Starting at the top:
Dartanyan (normal)
Obviously a pun on D'artagnan with the Japanese onomatopoeia for meow. A little kitten with an unusually sharp tail and ambitions of being a Hero. Here's how it could play out. From left to right:
Clawrtos (normal/steel (use a Dawn Stone on a Male Dartanyan)
A pun on Artos with claw. A sage leader and excellent swordsman
Purrtos (normal/Fighting (level up Male Dartanyan)
A pun on Portos with purr. A robust but easy going warrior.
Aramiss (normal/fairy (level up Female Dartanyan)
A pun on Aramis with miss. An elegant yet conceited fighter
I'm aware the Pokemon Universe has the Swords of Justice for a Three Musketeers reference, but this drew inspiration from Jeanne's four handgun set, All 4 One, specifically the keychain decorations in Bayonetta 2. Throw in aspects of both the cait sith and Puss and Boots, you have these fakemon.
